Create scrapbook layouts – step by step

So, you have idea for scrapbook album, it’s necessary to make a few steps to realize it. In the very beginning of your project decide how you wont to organize it. Creation of scrapbook will be very simple if you will follow to a few advices.
So, create your scrapbook step by step:

Step 1

Begin by assembling photographs, documents and memories. Start by entering what you know or remember about event. It may be possible to find additional photos,letters, mentions in municipal archives and other..

Step 2

Select suitable photos. Choose no more than 3-5 photos on page. Use only best photos for your album. Very old photos will be better to scan and restore. Also select for every page or photo available attendant documents, your memories and/or other family members memories.

Select a color range for your pages. Choose a few (no more than 2-3) colors suitable for your photos. It is necessary to select background color (it may be some picture), border color. Place selected materials on the page. Experiment with possible layouts for your photos, documents and memories. Arrange and rearrange until the page satisfies you. When you are happy with the layout you may begin to glue.
